Dr Ali Bayoumi is a Clinical Pathologist with an extended multidisciplinary experience in diagnostic and clinical research laboratories for more than 20 years. He has graduated with Honours in The School of medicine Cairo University then he pursued his Training as a clinical pathologist and Postgraduate studies in the School of Medicine, Sydney University then he continued his career in the Westmead Research Institute and Westmead Hospital in Sydney, Australia. In addition to his PhD in Medicine, Dr Bayoumi has successfully completed Clinical Teaching Fellowship from the Faculty of Medicine and Health, The University of Sydney.

Dr. Ali has an extended comprehensive experience in managing medical diagnostic laboratories 

with capable strategic visionary, analytic capacity, and strong operational focus.

Dr Ali has more than 20 publications in the last three years in high-impact journals including Nature communication, Advanced Science, EBiomedicine (LANCET), Trends in Genetics (CELL), Hepatology and Journal of Hepatol. He is on the editorial board of Hepatoma Research and has been invited to review publications for multiple journals. He has received the Australian Government Research scholarship and Westmead Institute Scientific Excellence (WISE) award for the last 4 years in a row.
